  • Where is Bluehaven?
    Bluehaven is tucked away in the village of Saltford, between Bath and Bristol. You’ll have access to more information and directions after you’ve made your booking.
  • How do we book a stay?
    You can book a stay at Bluehaven using our online booking system.
  • Do we need to pay a deposit?
    A deposit will be requested at the time of booking to secure your holiday. If you make your booking less than 12 weeks before the start date of the holiday you will need to pay in full when booking.

    A few weeks before the start of your holiday you will be asked for a security deposit of £1000. This will be returned to you in full within a few days of your departure, providing that nothing is damaged or missing from the property.
  • What are your check-in times?
    Check-in time is 4pm and check out time is 10am.
  • What’s provided for our stay?
    • Duvets and pillows (synthetic filled), bed linen, cot mattress sheets, bath robes, house towels and towels for use with the pool and spa facilities. Please bring suitable footwear for use around the pool and for going to and from the sauna and steam room.
    • Crockery and cutlery, wine glasses, champagne flutes, tumblers, high balls, gin bowls, cocktail glasses and pint glasses.
    • At least 2 toilet rolls per toilet, initial supplies of tea, coffee, sugar, salt and pepper washing-up liquid, dishwasher tablets, dish cloth, sponge scourer, tea towels, oven gloves, kitchen roll, cling film, tin foil, bin bags, laundry tablets, hand soap.
    • Welcome Packs of shower gel and moisturiser.
    • Hairdryers in all bedrooms, iron and ironing board.
  • Is Bluehaven family friendly?
    Bluehaven is perfect for big happy family holidays! We can supply 2 travel cots for infants aged 2 years and under, and 2 highchairs. Note that we don’t have stairgates due to the bespoke nature of the staircase and that it’s very important that all children are supervised throughout the house and garden.
  • Is Bluehaven dog friendly?
    Yes. 2 well behaved dogs are welcome per stay at an extra charge of £75 each. Please make sure you’ve read our Dog Rules before planning to bring your pet.
  • What’s the wifi like?
    Bluehaven has Truespeed superfast fibre broadband, so it’s very reliable.
  • Can we play music at Bluehaven?
    You can. There is built-in Sonos in the open plan living space, pool terrace and bar, controlled by iPad. Please note that you cannot bring any additional amplification equipment to the property.
  • Is there electric vehicle charging at Bluehaven?
    There is 1 EV charging point for guests to use. This is charged and will need to be added as an Extra after you have secured your holiday – usage is £35 for weekend and midweek stays and £50 for a week. Please see Electric Vehicle Charging at Bluehaven for more information.
  • How much parking is there?
    There’s secure, gated parking for up to 10 vehicles.
  • Can I have a food delivery at Bluehaven?
    Of course, as long as it’s after your 4pm arrival time. All the major supermarkets deliver to the house – please remember to put your name and contact number on your order.
  • Is there CCTV at the property?
    CCTV covers the pool area, the entrance to the property and the waterfall in the hallway.
  • Do you allow stag and hen parties?
    Bluehaven can be booked for refined stag parties and sophisticated hen weekends. We want you to have fun but please bear in mind that this is not a party house and that consideration is required for neighbouring properties.
  • Can we have visitors to the house?
    No. Due to insurance restrictions, the maximum number of people allowed at the property (14) cannot be exceeded.
  • How should we leave the house?
